Character Info:
Character Name: Captain Marvelous
Canon: Pirate Sentai Gokaiger
Character Age: Early 20s
History: History.
Marvelous is entering after the events of Go-Busters VS Gokaiger.
Personality: Marvelous is a man that keeps his true self and intentions masked, with varying levels of success. On the outside, he is a pirate through and through. He is rebellious and takes orders from no man. If he sees something he wants, he takes it, and if he sees anything he doesn't like, or something that bothers him, he wrecks them.

Often times, he can come across seemingly disinterested or annoyed with something if it isn't a part of his goals. Other times, if it's something he finds exciting, he will follow it through with an enthusiasm that is next to impossible to stop. However, throughout everything, he will often come across people in need or those that need saving...

In the end, he always ends up helping these people. Many times, that disinterest is feigned. He will shrug off any praise for helping people, will not dare call himself a hero, and will laugh or roll his eyes at anyone who does. He is a pirate, and he has a reputation to uphold. But despite how rough around the edges he may be, how much he may not APPEAR to care about the perils of those in danger, he is at his heart a good man. As a good man, he will always find a way to do the right thing in the end... even if he has to make up an excuse to cover his good deed.

Protecting dreams is very important to him, as is protecting his crew. His crew is his family, and those he cares the most about. Anything that puts them in danger will be faced with a gun and/or sword to the face. He will do ANYTHING to protect the other Gokaigers, no matter how much danger it puts his own health in. It is not just his crew's dreams that are important, though - upon realizing his own view of what it means to be a leader and a Captain, he has come to realize the importance of protecting the dreams of those who can't otherwise do it for himself. He will, of course, do this in a pirate fashion... but as it is said above, he will usually find a way to do the right thing in that regard.

So while he may come across to others as uncouth or uncaring, or even a sarcastic or greedy asshole, he does care quite a bit. Far more than one would think upon first impression. He is a pirate first, but in the end, he is also the leader of a Super Sentai. Both of these are now badges he wears with the utmost honor.
Chosen Position: Ranger
Powers: N/A, unless you count his ability to summon his weapons outside his Ranger form.
Abilities: Marvelous is highly skilled with both a blade and gun. He can also take an unusually high level of physical punishment (he's been cut open, had a bomb blow up in his face, rammed his own sword through his foot...), but will generally be fine so long as you feed him enough.

Ranger Form (if applicable):
Power Morpher: The Mobirates - a device which is designed much like a flip-open cell phone. Inserting the red Gokaiger Ranger Key into it, he transforms into Gokai Red. Prior to the end of the series, this was also the method used to transform into past Rangers, but those powers have been returned to their rightful owners.
Ranger Uniform: Sup.
Ranger Personal Weapon: The Gokai Saber is designed like a cutlass, while the Gokai Gun is similar to a flintlock pistol, and fires a seemingly limitless supply of round bullets. Both can be powered up by inserting a Ranger Key for a devastating "Final Wave" energy attack. Given his canon point, Marvelous only has one Ranger Key on his person, so he can only charge one weapon at a time - if he had access to another Key at any point he could charge both at the same time.
Ranger Zord: The Gokai Galleon, which is basically a heavily armored, heavily armed flying pirate ship with a giant sword on its front. It has several automated cannons along its sides, has the ability to travel in space, and served as the base of operations for the Gokaigers through the duration of their series. In canon, it housed the remaining four Gokai Machines, but clearly without their masters they won't be present here, yet. The Gokai Galleon serves as the torso and head for ther Gokaigers' primary mecha, Gokai-Oh.
